" ... and now we're not. I wish you could tell me why !" ♪Anyway, here's Andrea Beaumont and Jonathan Crane from the Batman universe, while they were young at the Gotham University, learning psychology together.
I'm playing Andrea in a french rpg forum named "Univers Batman". Scarecrow's player and I decided to create a common past of our two characters, because of their similarities (especially their villain costumes). So we made up this story about Andrea and Jonathan being friends at school (but in fact, young Jon was more in love than friend ! Poor fellow was friendzoned ! XD).
Anyway, hope you like it as much as I do. It's not the best I can do but it was a little drawing just for the fun after all. 8D

Well, in Andrea's defense, Jon was probably a creep even that far back. The fact that she tolerated him to begin with is saintly on her behalf. I'm guessing they get along better now that they're both theatrical psychopaths...Though my guess is that Scarecrow would wind up friendzoning Phantasm given Phantasm only uses fear as a means to an end while Scarecrow lives for fear. Kind of a "Cat's In the Cradle" situation with these two.
Very nice job drawing the characters; looks like something you could see in a comic. I would have said the background was distracting, but I see that wasn't your main objective with this pic.

I hate friendzone.
But I really like your idea that Andrea and Jonathan were friends once. Makes Scarecrow even more understandable.
