Description
Preparing for an oil painting demonstration this afternoon of Gandalf for my online class, and thought to share a piece from similar circumstances created a couple of years ago. I love portraiture!

A very well done depiction of Eowyn the Shieldmaiden! Fairly close to how I depicted her from my many book readings!
Miranda Otto did a remarkable job in the PJ movies, but it's great to see artwork that isn't just a copy and adjustments of the movie. Again, well done!

this is awesome, more like the eowyn i imagined from the book, the actress for the movie was, meh.Β Β this looks more like a shield maiden of rohan should, a lot tougher and strong!

I love the lighting and the style you've used for this. The vibrant colours work together to create a more muted overall effect, which lends the piece all the vibrancy of fantasy while at the same time making it appear real. Gorgeous work, well done
