Love this matchup. The amount of fun animation potential to be had from it with all of Mario and Kirby’s crazy abilities they’ve gained over the years is absolutely wild and would make for an amazing fight. Plus, after playing more Kirby games and getting to love and appreciate the franchise more, my love for this matchup has only increased since it has basically everything I’d want in a matchup for these two. While I’d consider Sonic to be objectively Mario’s best matchup and Kirby does have a lot of great alts, I consider this to be my preferred for both
