These pictures are the same millstone this millstone now in the park today was unearthed by R.E Hogan, Jr., and Robert Skidmore. This stone was buried when the mill at Pomme de Terre rvier (now a lake) was destroyed by the August 7 ,1927, Flood. Millstones or mill stones are stones used in grist mills, for grinding wheat or other grains.
