I bought the very same headphones a few years ago.It recently broke on me (the earpiece snapped off). I admit I did kinda abused it alittle while I'm mixing.
I told myself I wouldn't buy another Sony headphone... let alone the same model.
So I decided to throw the old one away. It's pretty useless when you can't wear it without holding the earpiece in place.
Plus that particular earpiece went out.
A few months after I threw the old one away...
I bought another one
Being careful this time around.

I'm thinking bout putting down some money for the same pair as well, since I found some brand new for relatively cheap.

It's been good so far. I don't see any cracks or anything yet. I don't fold it up as much as I did with the first one.
