I'm trying out the program Comics Life ([link] ).I may go get this one. I don't need to use photos -- but it's very easy to make neat pages and drop in scanned art.
It's a layout tool.

Dabbling with other styles I see. Dammit you two are funny. I see you dragged Dan into it. The cat looks pleased.
I think the cat on the bottom found a stash of heroine rather than beer myself. 
If I knew how to do something like this, I'd do it.

Like I said, I was using the Comics Life program -- you just drop the art in along with the automatic balloons. It's a great way to use your own stuff and let them do the layout.
