This is just, stunningly beautiful!!   Who would have ever thought such of a fly photograph? lol    The pose is artistic, colors are rich and just wonderful; and it has great light and shadows. (great textures too! Love how the fuzz on the buds reminds of sugared candy, or frost; also you can count the hairs on the fly's underbelly.      You are getting better and better every time, Donna! !! )

Thank you very much Linda!! I was quite please with this photo. Its just so very  hard to capture them, one minute they're there and the next second, they're gone, much like birds in my experience....haha. I'm glad you think so Linda, that means a lot!

You're very welcome, Donna !  My hat is off to you, - and to all photographers. To say it takes patience is an understatement.  I'm glad you all have it though, because I would never. I'd be snapping away randomly every which where; and see when I got home if I got lucky with anything. !!

Looks very nice! Flies are hard to photograph for sure!

Thanks Mathias! They are quite hard to capture, just like birds, maybe even a little harder because many of them move so fast!! Yes, if all goes well I should be able to start harvesting them in a couple of weeks!
