Thank you! It was actually quite warm then sweetie....haha. It was July, but it was probably still too cold for you, 70s so the water was probably 70s by then too.

Oh no, not Spongebob!...haha. Tay watched the latest movie throughout the day today and every day this week and last! His latest movie obsession. I found this about the Inuit, thought you might like to read it: www.newyorker.com/magazine/200…

There is a family near me that allowed their youngest daughter to go out on the ice years ago, naked, and get in a hole in the ice...yikes!!! I'm with you, no gracias!!

Si it is....I've had a break from it this weekend thankfully, but I'm sure I'll be watching it again tomorrow...uggggh!

De nada sweetie Whenever you get a chance to look at it

I have no idea why they would let their daughter go skinny dipping in the ice hole. That doesn't seem like a very responsible thing for parents to let their little girl, does it?

How would she keep from getting hypothermia?

He gave me a break from that today and asked to watch Curious George instead...haha. I have no idea how she kept from getting hypothermia. I'm hoping her parents whisked her into the house right after her icy skinny dipping!

I hope you have fun with your grandson, it is a unique chance

I hope you are feeling better as well.
I'm having quite a bit of trouble with sleep seizures and moving on to the next phase of my life.
Onward always eh?

It's mostly fun, but he has his not so good days too...its all to be expected with a 4 year old though....haha. I am feeling a little better. On a big dose of muscle relaxers and not exactly the results I was hoping for. I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble with sleep seizures, it sounds horrible. You'll make it, I know you will Onwards always Β

4 is a nice age, enjoy him while you can hehe.
I imagine he has no preschool?
Sleep is a real problem for me, I awake every day with really bad pain, today it worked into a migraine.
I am glad you are better, maybe the relaxers are better than bad pain though!
Onwards always, we hope upwards!

donnatello129 In reply to 77Kura [2016-02-18 02:49:20 +0000 UTC]

4 is a nice age, but such a busy age too!..haha. No, no preschool, my daughter can't find someone to pick him up from preschool in the city and bring him to me.

Oh wow, that's too bad. Have you tried yoga before bed? maybe that would help. The muscle relaxers are better than the pain, but sometimes I have that too regardless, so, I am thankful for the good days. I hope your migraines subside soon. How is dance going? I hope well.

Of course upwards, I won't accept less!

I should try yoga...I cant use my insurance for the new dr for awhile so I may try to pay to see the old one, its not easy.Β  Im glad you have good days...and I hope les pain....upwards yes...always the best!

Have fun with the little one.

Dance and piano are going ok, the pain has slowed me a bit but I will go on!

You can find some yoga poses on youtube. They help with my condition too. It doesn't sound easy to manuveur between teh two doctors with your insurance. Maybe not less pain, but a won't give up attitude...haha.

I do have a lot of fun with my grandson, I learn so much from him!

I'm glad that you're still doing dance and piano, though with pain I am sure it is more difficult. Just keep going forward

haha yes...it is easy to feel defeated but we must fight it!
I need to do yoga...I need to stretch more too...

hehe
I'd love to see more shots of him, he looks really sweet

Thanks, yes, I'm glad, I will go to the piano now, I think dance and piano help with pain and sleep...so I must continue no matter what

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

donnatello129 In reply to 77Kura [2016-02-18 15:30:19 +0000 UTC]

Yes fight through it most definitely! Yoga is a lot about stretching and it is essential to our well being

I made him dinosaur feet from tissue boxes the other day and he loved them, he made a scary dino face and he looked so adorable..haha. He is really sweet although he has his not so sweet side like everyone else...haha

I am sure that dance and piano help with pain and sleep, or takes your mind off your pain for a while, which allows you to fall asleep....yes, please continue no matter waht

You are so right....yoga can center us as well.is it helping much?

What a cute dinosaur, you must take pix hehe
I'm sure you can enhance his sweet side He is lucky he has you.

I can fall asleep fine, luckily, it is what happens when I sleep that is the problem!

How are you today?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

donnatello129 In reply to 77Kura [2016-02-19 01:25:37 +0000 UTC]

It helps somewhat, probably more than the muscle relaxers...haha.

He was a very cute T-Rex...haha. I did, now all I have to do is post it.... Thank you He usually thinks so too. I try to enhance his sweet side, or the side that doesn't want to play video games on his ipad none stop....haha.

I hope that the seizures stop soon. You can't be getting a good night's sleep with that going on.

I'm doing ok, not liking the brain fog and total lack of motivation that comes with taking this high of a dose of baclofen. I think I might cut back a bit, just so I can think again... other than that, I can walk so that's a great thing!

77Kura In reply to donnatello129 [2016-02-19 02:05:21 +0000 UTC]

Im so glad you can walk yay!
I also hope the fog improves.
Luckily last night was better but my work was cancelled and im not getting paid which stinks!
Im also so blocked I need a soapy enema.
Stress is not a good thing!
but piano in a bit...
are you having a nice night?

donnatello129 In reply to 77Kura [2016-02-20 03:08:53 +0000 UTC]

yes I can walk, though not far, but I can walk at least! I've started cutting back on the muscle relaxer by 1/2 a pill and I noticed a marked improvement with the brain fog when I did that today. It will take me a week to get down to 1 pill 3 Xs a day, otherwise they cause seizures if you try to come down off from it too quick. Oh wow, that's not good! I hope that the next time you have work that they don't cancel! A soapy enema? That sounds scary!...haha. No, stress is defininitely not a good thing! I hope you are playing piano tonight if you can. I'm relaxing toinght for a bit before sleep because I know I don't have to get up for babysitting tomorrow.

I'm so glad you can walk, it is one of my favorite things and really helps clear my mind and improve optimism! Doctors always prescribe to much to start, for me anyway. Cutting back was a good idea. Yes, be careful cutting down, seizures are another reason I dont want to get dependent on seizure medicine, its a slippery slope.
Soapy enemas are intense but they get the job done I've had too much stress the last week and it took its toll.
Yes, this place I work is problematic....life is always easy eh? lol
So no boy today? will you walk and take pictures some?
I hope sleep was good, mine was a bit better, but it is still hard to move my fingers.
It is time to eat something, I hope the day goes well!

donnatello129 In reply to 77Kura [2016-02-21 03:16:01 +0000 UTC]

I used to walk 6 miles or more a day and at least 3 during the winter. Now I'm lucky if I can do 3 during the summer and none or very little in the winter, but at least I can still walk! and there is always the treadmill I cut my dose down twice today, that's enough for now for a couple of days, then I'll cut it again. It is indeed a slippery slope!

Haha, as long as the soapy enemas get the job done, then I suppose it is worth it Stress can be a horrible thing. It makes my symptoms worse immediately, or sometimes weeks later. It is hard to live a life with no stress whatsoever though.

Life is never easy, but if it wasn't a challenge, I doubt that so many of us would continue with it...lol.

No Tay today, I get the weekend off, believe me it is much deserved rest...haha.Β  I didn't get out to take photos today, it rained for the majority of the day. I did Turbo Jam Abs instead of walking outside today, maybe I'll walk tomorrow, its still supposed to be kind of warm. I better get out before it turns cooler on Monday and I have Tay again...lol.

My sleep was good, just wish it would have been longer. I set my alarm so I don't sleep a lot past my normal wake up time, today though I reset it for 1/2 an hour longer....haha. I hope it gets easier for you to move your fingers

I hope whatever you ate was good and that your day went well today!

How did it go today with Tay?
Is there snow, or just cooler?
Did you get to walk and take photos this weekend? I am eager to see!
I did ok until yesterday then had pain and woke with a migraine today, I still have pain but am at the piano some.Β  It is warm at least and a bit sunny, we might have storms tonight.
How are Turbo Jam Abs? I will need to google them, Ive not heard of them.

What did you do with Tay today? hehe. that rhymes.

I've got to resolve some things and lessen stress. But I guess you know how one gets paralyzed by it all and does not take action, argh...I hope I can.

It is hard to walk here too, sadly, I LOVE long walks, I think they keep us healthier.

Sorry for the delayed response, all the best!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

donnatello129 In reply to 77Kura [2016-02-23 15:24:11 +0000 UTC]

I was quite busy with Tay and then with normal household things, so I didn't get a chance to respond to your post. I did get to walk with my daughter Sunday morning and took some photos, I posted them Sunday evening I think.
Sorry to hear that you woke with a migraine, that's awful! I hope playing the piano helped ease your headache. You've never heard of the Turbo Jam series? Turbo abs isn't as bad as her other exercise videos (Charlene I think is her name). I think I do pretty good with them, despite my issues with balance and leg weakness and stiffness...haha. You should google them, its not anywhere near yoga though so not very relaxing, more like energizing.

Yes cute rhyme...haha. Tay played on his ipad for most of the day and ran around in my house in between. I tried to show him the seeds we put in a jar to see if they sprouted had indeed sprouted, but he wasn't impressed...haha. I might make him get dressed and go outside for a short walk with me, its colder again only 34 so we won't go too far.

I do know how paralyzing stress is, work on it in babysteps, that way it won't seem as difficult.

I really do believe that long walks make us healthier, just wish it wasn't so cold and windy here!

Hope your day goes well and you woke up migraine free
