The first card of a Tarot Deck of my own development. The events of 9/11 ushered in a new reality, exposing once again the ugly, scaled underbelly of man's jaundiced view of religion and spirituality as simply more portals to Power and Influence. In that year there was a great visitation of energy. A great dark wave discharged by the sudden mass death of living beings who passed out of our world at the very instant of their greatest terror, and all for the glory of a deviant revisionist who attempted to disguise his political power grab beneath the veneer of a religious edict-the edict of a sacred faith he did in point of fact disfigure and dishonor. And very probably with the assistance and connivance of luminaries within our own government.
