also .. i think there should be more contrast and the floor/rug thing should be pulled tighter and more white .. but maybe thats just me. the trees are already turning colors where you live? lucky .. i saw one leaf changed yesterday though

finely crafted, I love the composition - and your use of the color is wonderful... a rusty red, the couch makes me think of a pool of blood and the leaves, droplets as if the girl has slashed her wrist and her essence is slowly ebbing away...

great colours. i want your couch.
Not to fond of it in full view, the lighting seems a bit off...so does the white balance..hmm..i dunno...its really the whites that throw it off, they are more wheaty/yellowy -- as well as your skin tones. I think the lighting could have been more dramatic. I would have liked to see shadows and more of a low-key shot. This is kind of..balanced, but imo, it seems to give it very plain feeling. Maybe a stronger angle could help the composition in the overall sense.
Some little things are distracting in the image as well, such as your dress and how there's a little curve-up thing by your left shoulder. The different colour leaves make my eyes crazy when viewing the lower half. Try playing around in photoshop more with this one.
I am, however; liking the composition in a more statstic sense. The reds are the main focus of the image at first glance, then your brought to your body, then to your arm, and then to the yellow leaf which makes your eye wander around the other leaves. As I said before, the reds are great. Nice job.

okay, fixed a bit. There's no way in hell, though, that I'm going to make all the leaves look the same. They're all supposed to be red (execpt for that one) - and they are - but they do not need to all be the same shade or whatnot. I like them different.
so I darkened it a bit, etc. hope you think it's better..

I love how it seems to be like blood and death, but it has maple leaves instead. It is just a cool contrast and starts up so many mixed impressions and feelings. I am also Canadian, so the maple leaves just touch me. Nice work, makes me think...
