Of course i know who this is from the thumbnail of my devwatches! Ryo is cute and a hottie but why i didn't like him? And why can't i finish 1 litre of tears??? Though it's a real story, it feels more like a fiction with added characters, and the real girl looks nothing like the actress..
The actress is sooo skinny that i couldn't help thinking when she played b-ball, she's gonna flew together with the ball whenever the ball is passed to her! Well, that's my opinion..The real girl had the figure of a b-ball player. Stout and tough.
I should be commenting on your artwork i suppose. But the sketch is fantastic. It looks almost like the real Ryo!

Aya may look different from the real girl, and it may have a bit of fiction in truth, I still think 1 Litre of Tears is very touching <3

Yeah tall is one of the factor. But if you compare Aya with the real girl, i really could imagine her fly playing b-ball. They real girl is well-build and not skinny. They should at least try to find a less skinny person to suit the character, but i guess it's hard to find one since most young actress are sooo stereotypical....
If the story is all fictions and not a real story, i'd definitely says it's a touching story. But sadly, i only cried when her lil brother was ashamed of his sister's conditions.
I really don't like the added character, cuz i think most of the viewers would sympathize with their relationship rather than her conditions. But i must admit with the presence of Ryo added some spice to the story, though i reckon it's not necessary. IMO, her(the real girl) feelings not being able to have a relationship was sufficed enough without the need of a fictional character. I don't find it touching when Ryo read the fictional letters and cried. I think it's horrible because it wasn't real at all. She did write in her diary about her disappointment and despair not being able to have a relationship. That was touching. Extra chara is not needed. I bet most viewers cried watching the scenes...Because all of my friends cried, not just that scenes, but at almost every episodes. And drag me to watch it too!
I find it touching seeing her determination to live, her feelings poured in her diary, and her supportive family. But not the made up relationship with Ryo.
Hope you won't find it offensive. I'm just sharing my opinion.

To be honest, I didn't cry at all the first time I watched. I only cried afterwards xDD. but I am a pretty...uhh, emotionless person when it comes to dramas so this drama was good enough to make me cry, it's saying something.
