Throwback of an old drawing of my favourite youtuber. Spent hours and hours trying to learn how to digital paint so glad it came out alright in the end. Maybe by the end of this year i will do a re-draw let me know if i should!Related content

Hi Nikol,
You have done a great job with this portrait, beautifully done eyes I have one comment to help you, the highlights in the neck are saturating and coming across too harsh, What I do is use a second layer to apply the highlights, then adjust the opacity of the layer, once you are happy combine the layer. Shading can be done in the same way. It just gives you better control. I don't think you need to redraw it, just post process the gem you have here, all the best

thank you! yeah it was one of my first drawings i did! i admit struggled with the highlights didn't know how i could fix it until recently and in the exact same technique you just mentioned. thanks for the advice I really appreciate it!
