- Obsidian Arms: Obsidian formations grow around Nadia's arms, bone and muscle mass also increasing to support the new weight. This gives increased strength, inertia, and lethality when it comes to impacts with her arms.
- Weaknesses: Due to the increased weight and mass, her speed is reduced by a heck of a lot. The rest of her body (ie lower torso, legs, head) are prone to injury.
- Fighting style: Close ranged, high impact, and hand to hand. She has learned a lot from both fighting on the streets, as well as training in boxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and judo.
- Personal -- Likes: Working out | Fresh fruits | Khakis | Swimming | Warm weather | Ice cream
- Dislikes: Greasy foods | Heels | Stockings | Tangles | Wimps | Frosting
- Personality
- Confident: Nadia has no problem when it comes to showing her pride and assurance for herself.
- Courageous: She could easily be defined as the first to hop into action, whether it is socially or during a fight.
- Active: She is always up on her feet, moving around, or expelling some kind of energy. She enjoys movement and being active.
- Independent: Nadia is very self-reliant and usually doesn't need much assistance, although when she does, it can be difficult for her to ask.
- Stubborn: Trying to get her to see perspective from another viewpoint is not easy, although when she settles with an idea or person, she stands by it no matter what.
- Outspoken: Getting her to speak her mind or be honest is something she comes by naturally, but sometimes she can cross the line into offending others.
- Short-tempered: Nadia has a very short fuse, it doesn't take a lot to spark, but once it does, good luck in trying to calm her down.
- Apathetic: It is practically impossible for her to have sympathy unless it is someone close or a tragic event, paired with outspoken, this has gotten her into quite a bit of trouble.
- Arrogant: Often times her confidence can cross the line into arrogance, and she exaggerates her roles and abilities.
Nadia spent most of her childhood in New Orleans with her Indonesian mom, American dad, and two younger sisters. Her childhood was filled with running around outside, bullying other kids (like her cousin), and family. She was living he American dream, well whatever that meant for children. Things then drastically changed for her when her parents divorced, and out of a fit of anger, her mother took the children and quickly moved back to Indonesia. Without a plan, or job, and 3 children, Nadia's mother had no choice but to reside in one of the roughest areas of Jakarta. 10 year old Nadia was utterly perplexed, but took the opportunity by the reigns.
With her mum soon working full time, and no one else to either watch over or protect her two sister, Nadia became a fairly dominant figure. Living in these rough parts did not come without fights. She spent a lot of her free time making sure her younger siblings were safe, and often came home bloody and bruised. She understood this as the price to pay to keep everyone happy and healthy. Her mutation, needless to say, came at an awful time. At least- that's what she thought then. It happened overnight, excruciating pain while tossing and turning in bed, then an unbelievable amount of weight. She didn't dare to even try to lift her arms, laying stuck in place until whatever happened finally went away.
The next day, she just assumed it was some kind of freak dream. She didn't want to believe it, no one had mutations in their family, right? She brushed it off, and things continued normally for about a week. Then it happened again, but this time it was in public. She was sitting in class, per usual, and the pain came back-- then before she knew it, she was laying on the ground, stuck, and unable to move. She laid there as kids sneered and taunted her, and she considered it one of the worst days in her life. She saw it as a curse, being unable to control such a thing and being considered lower because of it. It didn't take Nadia long to realize the benefit, people were scared of her. Now that she was a mutant, people were a lot more wary of her and her family, and if she could control and understand her mutation, she wouldn't be able to lose a fight ever again.
Nadia began training, trying to build up any strength she can just so this power was more than two rocks on her arms. Then she began to read things online, joining forums and seeking the answers to questions. She took the first steps in controlling what she had and using it to her advantage. Fights were easy to win, Nadia began growing confident, and was considered one of the toughest kids on the streets. This started to attract attention, specifically of other mutants, and fights became much more difficult. Sure, fighting an average human was easy when you have giant obsidian arms, but other mutants? Who had more skills and practice? Not so much. At the most impeccable timing, Nadia came home utterly defeated and beaten just as her mother was discussing with her father about Jean Grey School for Higher Learning, where her cousin was sent when her developed his mutation. Originally, her mum was completely against it, but after seeing Nadia's state and the amount of danger she was in, she soon changed her mind and sent her off.
Nadia tried to plead with her mother about staying in Indonesia, concerned about the family's safety and well being. But everything had been finalized, and she finally accepted her fate with her mum's most harsh comment, "We will be safer when we don't have a mutant in our house". With that, she was on a plane back to the United States and began a new life at a new school.

- Example: Nadia stood on the stairs, facing her new home and groaning. "Why did I have to come here?" She grumbled, pulling her coat closer to her body. It was cold, cloudy, and just overall unpleasant. She quickly scrolled through her phone, hoping for any kind of message from her sisters, nothing yet-- so instead she begrudgingly walked up the stairs. Just as she made it past the door, her phone vibrated and Nadia fumbled to see what it was. A video popped up with two girls attempting to fit in screen, giggling and yelling incoherent Indonesian. This caused a huge smile to wash over Nadia's face before standing up straight and confidently waltzing towards the front desk.
