I love the atmosphere of this painting, the sky and stars looks so magically! And the colors you used are perfectly matched. This picture excellently reflects the text!

I really like these Book III illustrations you keep producing of Legolas - the chapters of LotR that you start to see his character develop. Although Tolkien admits that Legolas 'achieves the least' of the Fellowship, nonetheless, its scenes such as this which flesh his character out. Quite apart from your version of Legolas being remarkably close to my own (as I think we've discussed elsewhere), these images accompany the text very well!
