Part 3 of a 3 part piece studying the different methods of reconstruction certain artists may take when depicting prehistoric theropods, sach as this loverly lad right here, Allosaurus! This reconstruction is the feathers variant, and while I still vastly prefer ths over the Scaly shrink-wrapped style, on animals such as Allosaurus or other large bodied carnivores that otherwise don't really have any evidence and or envirinmental factors that would lend to a thick, full covering of feathers ( though it could be argued that a thick coat of feathers may help in cooling the body or dispersing heat), aren't really all my favorites. Still though, I very much like how this version came out too, but let me know what you all think!
