I don't know whether to find this amusing or slightly offensive, but I'm going to have to go with the former because I am a fangirl.
In any case, no one's claiming Kurama/Botan is canon; it's a through and through fanon and cracktastic pairing. I don't see any problem with it. If you do, then I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.
