Back in 2006, I was first introduced to the hedgehog. I was 6 years old at the time, and my first Sonic game was Sonic Advances 3 on the Game Boy.
Since then, I become a fan of the hedgehog, but I didn't come out as one until I was 14 years old, due to being scared of being judged or bullied. I started to buy some merch, play games, learn more about the characters (plus drew my own), and even watch comic dubs on YouTube.
Sonic may have his ups and downs, but his future does look bright. A new game releasing next year, a fan favourite game being remastered, new comic stories, fantastic looking new merch, and a sequel of the Sonic Movie!
Thank you for running for the past 30 years Sonic, you will and forever will be my favourite video game franchise. Keep on running!💙
PS: Happy anniversary to Dr Robotnik, aka Dr Eggman as well. It maybe Sonic's day, but we cannot forget the most famous antagonist in the series.❤
