Fluttershy whined from a sharp pain in her neck as she woke up. The ground was cold and hard, but that didn't distract her from the pains ringing through as if she had been through a fight.

She struggled to sit herself up and suddenly felt something warm and wet running onto her shoulder. Fluttershy's eyes widened in horror at the realization of what it was.

"H-help! Soarin help me!" She barely raised her voice over a whisper.

She looked down at her body to see the feathers rapidly vanishing off her morphing wings, her tail gradually lengthening, and could almost feel the tingle of fangs in her mouth.

She suddenly began to feel twinges of pain in her belly that horrified her and drenched her with dread. She couldn't face another miscarriage.

Fluttershy began to cry out for help and tried desperately to drag herself to her hooves. She had to hurry before it was too late.

Don't worry the pains aren't exactly labor pains; it's actually a stressful metamorphasis Whistle underwent and hence why he's a batpony. But she did almost go into labor from the stress of it so yeah

Okay so either

1. She was attacked a bit by a rabid batpony or
2. She was attacked by something else and that triggered Flutterbat to protect herself.

Whichever makes the most sense for you either way Fluttershy can't remember what precisely happened unfortunately.

Should I go with this or stick with my earlier explanation that she just still had bat DNA in her blood?
