this is going to sound dumb but can i ask about a short tutorial about how to make the buttons to pass between pages?

If each page is a frame in the timeline, create a button and attach a MouseDown event.
button.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN,nextPage);
function nextPage(E:Event){
Β Β Β nextFrame();
}
There's no short way to learn ActionScript. If I gave you such a short tutorial, you wouldn't know what code means. Why not just read through the 11 chapters of my tutorial and learn all of it?

People are much less likely to read a tutorial that has several hundred pages in a row. It's also easier to find the chapter you're looking for if it's separate from the rest. I have all of my chapters neatly put together in order in my gallery folder marked "Learn things"
It would take a lot of work to take all of them and put them together. So I will not be doing it.

fair enough. I would have suggested making a Table of contents menu; that would link to each lesson rather then mashing all of them together to make one huge tutorial. because I can see what you mean by the tedium that(the mashing)would cause. as I stated: fair enough, your busy enough as it is I can only assume. and wasting your time making something that few people would likely use really isn't worth the effort. but I must ask. would I be able to download the lessons so that I can easily make use of them? (probably not the best way to word that but oh well)anyway I thank you for your time.

Well, it looks like these tutorials are still available for download, so I don't see why not.

I never would have been able to explain algorithms in this way. very good job.
dim Isdoomthewolfawesome as boolean = true
do until Isdoomthewolfawesome = false
messagebox.show("Doom-the-wolf is awesome.")
end loop
Hooray for programming!

It isn't just about scripts. It explains real programming. The following chapters explain all the basic things you need to know to make programs. Maybe you might want to learn.

I really love your interactive inflations of Biyomon and Gatomon from Digimon,
and I know you don't do requests, but I have just one to ask.
Can you do a interactive inflation of Palmon?

You know I don't do requests...
...
...
...Why ask?!
The whole point of telling people I don't do it is so that they won't ask.

I don't have a lot of time to work on them these days. The most I can say is that I'll probably get another one done before the end of the year.

Very helpful. Most of this is logical and I used to play with IT-83 calculators in high school to make games so I can think logically but by doing so I basically taught myself spaghetti coding which is a VERY bad habit. I need to learn real programming and so far your tutorial is helping with that.
Can't wait for the next one. I have flash but I was thinking about working with JavaScript myself. If you learn one programming language then it should not be that hard to move to a different one, or that what I heard at least.
I am loving the pizza example though, that a nice way of doing it.

Most of the things you see in Flash can be applied to Javascript. So this tutorial might help you with that.
