Here's a simple thing I like to call an interactive picture. A moving image where your actions are very limited. It's a very pregnant Mightyena lying in bed. You can watch her lie there and feel her babies moving inside of her.Yes, she's on a pink bed for the N-th time. Sorry for the lack of creativity. I'm sure you'd want to keep your pregnant PokΓ©mon in a comfortable place, too. Still, I hope you like it.

The coloring looks more refined than usual, it looks a lot better too.

No, sometimes the babies kick on the other side, which makes her belly move a bit in that direction.

That's not quite what I meant. Let me clarify:
I notice that her belly has a natural rise and fall in time with her breathing. every so often, though, it stops and seems to contract, her breathing increases and her facial expression changes. Altogether, these tell me she seems to be in early labor.

The image does represent her near the end of her pregnancy, and she does change her expression at random intervals between 8 and 20 seconds. It isn't in response to any specific event, though. It's because she gets a bit nervous from the constant motion she feels in her belly. I just wanted to add a little bit of variety to the animation.

It's good to hear that. These animations take a little bit less work to do than the normal ones. Especially because I don't have to animate very much.

I'd also like to mention that I find it kind of weird that you can rub under her black fur on her back.
But other than that, I think I have to say I may have grown attached to this interactive picture. I find myself coming back to it multiple times because I really like it that much. It's just so...enticing to watch.
I definitely wouldn't mind seeing more of these if you have the time to do them.

I'm glad you like it. I wanted to make this animation feel very alive and special. The most important thing I worked on was to make sure her belly was the right size and shape.

Well I literally tried rubbing her everywhere, and that's how I noticed that.
And alive and special is definitely right. The look and feel this flash gives me is so much more than you've ever done in an animation before. If your future animations incorporate this feel, I think I'd actually...might become emotional.
