Woot I (almost) finished my coat! It still needs some of the strappys but overall im proud of myself for being able to do that!!!It took me a day and a half with out a pattern! I still need the other stuffs to complete my cosplay though... went to sakuracon in it, dunno how many pics got taken... alot...
Gunna have my mom cut my hair later and hope she doesnt mess it up... if she does, well then ill have to settle for the wig... thats gunna suck. I got to try on a pair of the glasses and OMG those things were sooooo comfey!! I usually cant stand to wear glasses, but besides everything being yellow i didnt even notice them! If anybody has any suggestions on the armor though that would be great! (and bear in mind I dont have a fortune to spend on this... I have about $35 right now...)

How much do you think it cost for all the fabric if you remember ^_^" I was thinking about trying this cosplay out myself (finally watching the anime thanks to netflix!), and my grandmother can sew better than me, but I wanted to know if it might just be easier to get one made online (pretty pricey, $99+) or actually get the fabric and figure it out ourselves lol

Dude, I really need your help xD I've been looking for days for some kind of tutorial on how to make this, since I want to go as Vash on Uppcon this summer (UppCon is an anime convention in Uppsala, Sweden. The biggest in Scandinavia). Do you have some kind of template or tutorial that can help me out? 8D I would be truly, greatly and mind-numbingly thankful!

I wants! I would wear the coat EVERY (well, almost every) DAY! Most likely no one else would EVER have it. so you're pretty lucky! Kathrine told me you made it yourself when I saw it in one of the photos where you guys are cosplaying! I can't believe you made it!!I can only sew really simple plushies.

XD i DO wear it EVERY day! or at least when i can find all the pices.. X3 I did make it myself i decided i wanted it one friday and went to get the fabric the next morning! i had it done by midday on sunday. wore it to school on mon. XD it was alot of fun!

actually whn i made it i had NO idea what i was doing.. i had devided to make it on a friday night but it was too late to get the fabric.. so i went as soon as i woke up.. and got it done by about noon on sunday. XD
