Oh dear god, what on Earth have we unleashed? This flyingΒ version of Hedorah is as scary if not scarier than his Showa self (even tho that's exactly what this model supposed to be), but you upped the scare factor big time.

pretty quick, because he has no arms, legs, teeth, horns of much of a body. Still tricky to get the exact shape to my liking, but they all are. The other bigger forms will pose way more of a challenge tho. I'm happy you like it.Β

What a wonderful surprise illustration on my day off 
Oh well, this looks really good. The way you texture with your brushes really works for creatures like this. He just look so wonderful and gritty. Though I think the flying form is a bit lighter in grey tones,; I don't mind the darker colors that you used. And like many of your other ones, you excel at having so much detail and emotion coming form the eyes. And the eyes of Hedorah are pretty much the most definitive of haunting optical organs that you can have on a monster. Kudos also to the added smoke that you have coming from beneath the monster. Makes him look less static and like a flying Frisbee. Which is pretty much how my Hedorah tribute I did last year turned out ha.
I would love to see you do all the forms of the monster. Including the tiny frog size tadpole. Since there is so little detail on the prop they used I think it would really be great to show off some of your skill. And I also hope you do Hedorah's bastard cousin Hedoron from Spectreman one day too

Thankx, I shall. In fact I will spend the day laying out shading and highlight coloring schemes on 7 different illustrations at once. Going to be a massive project devoted to my fav show as a kid Mystery Science Theater 3000. Going to be focused on Cambot

Agreed. I was sure disappointed in Hedorah's design in that movie. Amazing to see his return, only for him to look like that.Β
