SpaceGodzilla's roar used the same base as Gigan'sβ€”likely a hawk. However, the hawk screech was slowed and pitched down for SpaceGodzilla, whereas Gigan had it pitched up.

he's right. Super godzilla came around the time Godzilla vs MGII was a bit hit. They used Super Godzilla's Concept and was originally going for a movie but decided to make Space Godzilla using existing concepts.
Hell theres alot of awesome concepts from Toho that still amazes me. Angilas and Varan for GMK (Angilas also for Heisei godzilla), Bagan for the movies, etc etc.

Yea, I really couldn't find a definitive image of him to use as ref. each pic I had was different than the next. So I had to do what I felt was good for the sculpt. Glad you like it. Thanks!

Yeah, the differences are mostly in the body. No crystals. And the overall colors are different. But the head is almost the same as SpaceG's.Β
