I started working on this yesturday and ended today around 4. Off and on I came up with this. I really enjoy how this turned out. YEAH, BACK TO CELL SHADING ^w^
I don't really have anything else to say about this, but Happy November people!

First off, I think you definetly deserve praise for this wonderful artwork of King Dimentio and Ashtros (They seem redesigned ^.^ They look amazing). Now! Down to business...
THE GOOD!: Your technique in this piece of art is wonderful. I loved the angles you drew the King and Ashtros in. They give off the impression that Ashtros is gloating while King Dimentio is panicking and, if you don't mind me saying, pissed off xD. Some other good techniques besides the angles and expressions include the glows that you used in various portions of the picture that do indeed add a very nice touch. The bachground also is another plus. It has a good amount of detail without stealing the spotlight too much. It gains just the right amout of attention. What needed a little bit of work: I can't really say that it was easy to find anything that needed work in this picture. It wasn't until I pressed "Download Image" and took a closer look that I found some minor adjustments that could have been made to add a touch of perfection to the picture. it started waaaaaaaaaaay back when the two tribes became their own. The Ghstiums actually had the NoFace as their slaves until a lone NoFace named Orion Kingstree rose up and broke his people free and had their own race. Since then the NoFace and Ghastiums are at a constant war over magic

OMG this just reminded me... today at the First thanksgiving at Berkley plantation in VA, I saw a reanactor that looked exactaly like Ashtros! The bad thing was he saw me staring at him and said "Stop looking at me you stupid girl!!" and then he walked away.

I know you're gone for the weekend, I am going to comment though! XD And giving you the
critique you requested (because I'm always doing that). Nice job on these two, I really gotta
say that. The angle and the poses are just awsome, and I'm happy you're back to cell
shading! Not, that I didn't like the other, but you're so good at cell shading and it just looks
great! ^w^ Again, very vibrant colors, and the glowing effect just fits the dark atmosphere
somehow. And I see the "new" King Dimentio, I love the clothing a lot. Wait... Did you
redesign Ashtros, too? : D The light effects in general are ver well done, especially the
lighting around King Dimentio. The void looks pretty as always (you just can draw it, I totally
fail at it XD) The expressions rule, I can really see the anger of Dimentio there, and the Count
looks kind of gloatingly, and his grin is pure evil, wow. Hah~ What else to say? You're
improving about the poses and proportions , I recognized... But I'd be nice if you could
ask something specific, like, "What do you think about...", know what I mean? ^w^
Because I really don't want you to tell the same things over and over again. Heh, but
you know that you are awsome, so... I'm happy you enjoy your own pictures, too. We

I really love your art!it is something I look forward to everyday !lol hm I need to finish reading for when the bells toll or I think that is the name I have very bad memory...hm I have heard of cell shading but I am still fuddled on what it is...how does one cell shade?

Cell shading is basicly using a layer over your color layer that is dedicated to greys and light blues/reds on Mutiply. this will instantly give the color a darker color and overlay the color layer. Cell shading allows to shade a mass majority of areas without the need of cleaning the shadow off the background.

I know its a minor detail in the background, but I can't take my eye's off Dimentio's magic. Bright colors on dark background, added to the details you put into them--they really pop. I love them.

I drew personas for Blumiere (Count Bleck) and Dimentio's fathers.
If you go into my gallery and look up the pencil comic series called "Blumiere's past" it will explain alot here.
As for this, this is actually a very serious peice. The void in the back and King Dimentio (the Dimmy we know's father) is trying to get Count Ashtros (Blumiere's father) to stop the void
