I don't usually write very long descriptions, but in this case I would like to give a little back story.

At the beginning of this year I hit a patch of bad luck (and maybe dumb decisions). Sales were a bust, I missed a flight and I dropped a suitcase on my foot. The backlash of these mishaps lead to me having to give up the rest of the conventions I wanted to attend. Of course, I was really heartbroken. But the experience taught me that I really cared about these cons and that was why it hurt so much.

Instead of giving up on the thing that had made me feel so bad I decided to try and do the opposite. I wanted to do something positive for myself. So, I used my last bit of money to gather materials and started working and learning how to make my own fursuit.

I already had my sona Stream Line, but I didn't want to make him right away. I felt like a first time suit was going to be bad and I wanted to wait till I got better to make him. On top of that, his features would have proven too much of a challenge to create with zero experience.

I roughly based my design on a drawing I made of a random minty colored fox. I wanted the color to be mint, as a nod to Silly Lyra. But, I had trouble finding good quality fur in this color. I ended up getting something called aqua, which turned out way more blue than I wanted. My idea was to make up the suit as I went along and later make the design that came out my new sona. I would name him Dori-to to avoid further name confusion.

I really enjoyed making him, even though it was very time consuming and sometimes difficult to work with the materials. On top of that, I had the feeling that it looked bad up until the moment it was finished.

In the short time that I've had him I've already made so many amazing memories. Everything they say about fursuiting is true.
