I'd like to be modest, after all I'm English, and say it was all just luck, but I can't. I was tracking him and his head was pressed right back almost between his wings with his beak resting on his throat. Also, he was moving towards the other swan at a hell of a speed. These are usually a good indication that a swan is about to lose it big time. Which he did just as I had anticipated and I got the picture with a single shot. Sometimes I think I'm quite good at this photography lark.
