first stamp, made on paint, so the quality isn't good, and the text is a bit hard to read. BUT. It's good enough to be in my shoutboard.There are other beating stick stamps, but i couldn't find a furry one so here it is.

That doesn't give anyone the right to make intentionally targeting and degrading artwork that trashes a given person or group of people. I know perfectly well there is nothing to stop people from making stuff like this but it is still wrong. People love to make fun of and judge people when they know NOTHING about what or who they really are. Its disrespectful and hurtful, to say the least.

Yes, and a fair amount (though not all) of them are fursuiters. Fursuits are what I meant when I said "Silly costumes". Because furries in costume are hard to miss, this trait is usually associated with the entirety of the furry community.

and those "silly costumes" raised nearly $3,000 for a children's hospital.
There's more to a furry then sex in animal costumes. People have the tendency to shove the bad part of the fandom into the furries that what nothing to do with it.
They actually made children happy (although I know how some furries can be rather...uh...odd with the suits.)

I know that Furries aren't all about sex in animal costumes, or sex at all. I know that most aren't even touching the sexual part of the furry community. I didn't imply in any way that they did.
It happens with all fandoms. They all have bad members and weirdos in them, who turn people off of the fandom in general; I know this better than many. Those who do have sexual relations in Fursuits are simply the most notorious part of that mini-group.
And yes, I know that kids love anthropomorphic animals. They can help raise spirits, brighten days, and even cheer up sick kids. The $3,000 for children was a great thing for furries to do.
Please don't take me for some member of Encyclopedia Dramatica; my "silly costume" statement was made as a joke, and I do respect and understand the furry community as a whole.

I love seeing these "Anti-personal interests/hobbies" movements. They make me laugh. An anti-furry movement will catch on about as well as the Prohibition era did... Even if this site wasn't American founded, and you /did/ get what you wanted, people are still going to do what they want... you can't stop it. You think Napoleon could stop sadomasochism throughout France from the popularity of the Marquis de Sade's literature? Heh. No he could not. And you know something else? It pissed him off too.
I never really have understood the mindset. Why waste time trying to change other people? It'd be great if we could all just co-exist. But, our differences keep us from becoming ant-like drones in society. So, I respect those differences and am happy you have your own opinions that are not mine. Just wish that this pic didn't have to come up when I was looking up furry art.
