I want to say right away that I love this shot!
I took away a star for impact because, well, your tag at the bottom distracts me from seeing your beautiful work. The EXIF data speaks for itself, so adding your tag isn't necessary, although I understand why you do it. Without it, the picture is flawless.
Your eye is amazing and while many may think it is easy to compose a shot like this, I know it is not. Very well done! I especially love the perspective of the tower being contrasted against the flat sky and how you were able to use deep depth of field while maintaining the sharpness and clarity in all of the colors.
The detail in your shadows are what amaze me the most. Stopping down to control the highlights was the goal, I'm sure, but the way you handled the shadows and kept them in balance is genius.
This is one of my all time favorite photographs. I have about 25 and this one fits in around number 8.
Again, I would remove all tags from future posts as someone could just crop above it and still use the photograph. It isn't worth taking away from such beautiful work.
I hope this critique helps and know that I am salivating over it as we speak.
