I expected this to take longer than it did but aaaaah it's done!! another group illustration of all my mcs of my story; Terra Fray. (there's some minor characters in there as well tho)Really needa stop drawing horizontal illustrations, dA slaughters the formatting every timeeeee >: ((((((((( grr

This is so amazing that u've acctually inspired me enough to do a piece like this myself. I've never ever pushed myself to do many characters in a picture. So for the first time in my life im gonna start to put things together to make a piece like this

what resolution are you painting in?
sometimes when you let deviantart pick the size of the image automatically it ends up too small and unable to zoom in...
you can make the images bigger when submitting them and allow for people to zoom in and see all your wonderful detail!

i think it selects the highest resolution available by default tho : ( would it solve it to make the image smaller?

i think it depends on what resolution the canvas used is and it resizes to "fit" on a "standard" display screen size but it does lead to being too small...
but probably using a larger canvas can help... or you can actually go into a submission and edit how large the file is for example:
(this is under the image at the top of the page for editing an already submitted artwork) it picks the max size for a display or you can select the original size (dimension for image)

**edit: i'm pretty sure the automatic size for an image uploaded is 600 pixels wide which can be WAY too small for larger (and landscape) images.. maybe try boosting up the size and see if that helps with the formatting? best of luck and hope it turns out working for you :')
