Question Number 1) How do you get better than perfect? Because you've done that. Your art before was perfect, and now it's better than perfect. I love this. So much. Like too much. How much is it for a Print?! Ooh, how do you get- oh! Like God, dude! How do you- I really like the lighting. I'm mesmerized by your lighting. Like, what blows me away with the lighting in this piece is what so many artists forget: time of day. You set this piece, so that the lighting wasn't flashy, or stylized, or overthetop. The lighting is pragmatic, and that's what gives it beauty. You can tell the sun is setting, and that it's close to the end of the day, it becomes a part of the overall story of the piece, and that's so breathtaking. And fuck dude. The fuckin' crown shit you got going on, I don't even know what that is, but it frames her face utterly splendidly. And that piercing gaze! You know what I really like? I really like that you didn't go overboard on the details of her face. Like, the lips are a light shade, and the ears don't have much saturation, or weight. Like, there's so much detail contrast going on in her face, and that's really cool! With the crown framing, and the detail contrast you've pulled off an utterly inspiring focal point. Goooood, you know I can go on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on about your work, but the one thing that stands out to me the most is how much this looks like a James Gurney inspired piece. The lighting, the storytelling, the attention to detail, and lack thereof, it all makes this feel like something James Gurney would pull out of his hat, and it solidifies you as someone mastering their art. I couldn't fit this into the review, but I really like how this piece feels like there's an adventure going on that we, as the audience, don't know about, or see. Something about her gaze makes me feel like she's looking at a group of adventures, and putting them on a quest. I love that. God, Doubi, this is so fuckin' good. I just really love it. I could go on for days, but I just really love it. Fantastic way to start off the new year. You're so great. Flawless job, wonderful art, just keep it up, keep it coming, don't stop. You're only getting better.
