Finished a pair of Dawnguard War Axes over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. This was a beast of a project. Don't let any item from Skyrim fool you - they will all kick your ass in one way or another. What began as an MDF and sintra master build was molded, re-molded due to a mold failure, and finally cast in a variety of resins and foam. For as much work that went into it, it was a surprisingly quick kit build in the end. All the pieces come out of the mold very cleanly, requiring very little clean up before paint and assembly.
