This is a progress photo of my Goddess White Sword prop replica from Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. It's much farther along than what's shown in this photo, but this is just meant to be a teaser.

It's currently on the back burner, but I will be returning to it in another few weeks. I have to have it done by mid-November, and I don't have much longer on it, so I've been taking some time off on it to work on more pressing projects. Thanks for the comment, though!

What material is it made from? wood? resin? foam? I must know

Currently it's an MDF base with some cast resin details on it. The final will be a cast resin sword, though.

Sounds fantastic. I've been debating the best way to make the Link swords. I wanna make the whole progression from first to last. (may skip the 2nd one since the Goddess Sword looks so much cooler). I was actually thinking of making them out of perhaps oak or maple. Carve the sword pieces and piece them all together into a final product. Still in the design stages though. Once I get something started I'll start posting pictures. I may look to yours for inspiration though since it looks so close to the game's sword.
