Description
In light of no confectionary celebration (as opposed to last year’s cupcakes), I decided to whip up another one of these in honour of Conrad’s birthday.I don’t remember where I snagged this from, so if it was your commissioned Conrad, thank you!

Ooohhhh, that vest looks magnificent. And I love his watch, and the fact that you went back to his canon design by making one of his eyebrows flick right off his face. That must have been frustrating. Cutting out tiny eyebrows.

It always depends on the complexity of the drawing (I have one of Conrad in his argyle sweater vest, and I don't like to think about how I intend to do that one), and I'm really bad at keep track. HOWEVER. I was marathoning The Venture Bros while I worked, and it took me the first 8 episodes of season 1 and then some. So between 4-5 hours. XD

I took some stage photos on the first Conrad I did, but I find I'm really bad at remember to take photos when I intend to do that sort of thing. I get really into working and photos slip my mind. Maybe on the next one I'll try to keep it in mind.

It's pretty nice to be able to focus in on a project. I'll be lining something and think to myself, "I should put some music on" and then I work in silence for three hours before remembering that I wanted to do that. Seeing your process one day would be pretty sweet.

Oh snap, a degree. No wonder you're dedicated. Here I used to think my friends and I were English nerds-- we wanted to become English teachers at one point. Then we all realized we have no tolerance for small children.

No clue when I'll have time for the next one, but we'll see.
My degree is technically in creative writing, so my ideal plan is to someday cram the OCs floating around my gallery into a book/series. I may, however, go for a library science masters so that I can get a good job in the meantime.

Sweet. I hear being a librarian actually pays pretty well. I'm also trying to get into a stable job while I work on series (I'm a print production major). DX I'm so slow to develop a story, though.
