12" x 24" oil on canvas painting of, when in 2012, the Space Shuttle Endeavour landed at Los Angeles International Airport atop a 747 to go to its final resting place at the California Science Museum in Los Angeles. This was a big event, with countless thousands of people, including me, watching. (People were even out of their cars on a nearby freeway!) This painting is part of the NASA Art permanent collection, currently displayed at the NASA Neil Armstrong Flight Research Center at Edwards AFB, California.
