Made others in the series of fashionable African Americans with my own designs.I originally made it with colors pencils but i prefer the digital colors however the skin remains with color pencils.

I exaggerated the pose to showcase the bum sometimes you could get away with that if you dont overdo it thats the fun in art breaking the rules i know her turning is push to the max a bit cartoony ,you can search for this pose and find plenty that match this pose to some extent.As for your female comment i love drawing women and see nothing wrong drawing curvy women if thats what you refer to it has nothing to do with race i have other drawings with the same proportions latina,white,asian unless green eye African American women stereotype is what you're referring to .
But yes i'll take your advice and thanks for the color comments i dont usually color my work.

Lovely coloring but for me this doesn't really do anything besides pander to the stereotypes of women and black woman also your character is so shift it is weird. In my opinion you should draw a few studies on movement and motion you know draw dancers in motion that should help with perspective and anatomy. I hope that helps. Anyway you are off to a good start. Keep practicing
