I've used two filters in photoshop. One with the background texture, and I believe I used the 'cutout'-filter too.

I thought it was 100% traditional, that's why I digged it... I mean, even I could paint a slightly abstract Kai if I used Photoshop. Wouldn't it have been way cooler to post the original? T_T
Anyway, it's still a cool celebration piece, don't get me wrong... I just didn't expect it to be partly digital.
