Heading to New Zealand tomorrow for an amazing vacation with the fam <3 Just got a bunch of photos from some shoot that I did this month, but I don't think I'll be able to post them until I get back, but here's one to check out! Look at me acting all edgy pshhhhttttt I guess that's why they call it posing lolSuch a pleasure to work with this photographer tho, we were able to get some great shots in a really short shoot!

They are cute. They are also somewhat deadly. In the past they were shot on sight because they would land on a sheep and begin to eat it. It was only their being placed on protected status that saved them. They were known to snatch leather hats off of tourists and eat them. I found much of this information in "Murder by Water" a Phrynie Fisher murder mystery. The author has a bibliography at the end of the book giving more information on many subjects including the Kea. So, yeah. Really.
