This photo was taken during Fanime 2011 at the San Jose Convention Centre, in San Jose, CA, US of A.
This was such a cute cosplayer! She seriously had a difficult time with the axe that is in the photos. She had a man slave to help her lug it around. The thing was made out of solid wood! Crazy! Best part is with the gauntlet, she wasn't able to use one hand at all!
