I drew a Tempest...
Was kinda bored and had thought of drawing something (or some-pony) different than what I usually do, so here you go.
Honestly, I enjoyed the MLP Movie quite a bit, I have to say Tempest wasn't my favorite in the film, but was an entertaining character none the less.
Hope you enjoy also... btw: I didn't know what to do for a Cutie Mark for her, and I know we know her actual name but I didn't feel like creating something for her,
or taking examples from other artists who made her one, I honestly don't even know if she actually has a CM or if she's just a blank flank. I kinda assume her CM would have to do with fireworks though since she said, near the end of the movie that was something 'special' she could do
Oh well feel free to speculate

Heh, that reminds me. When I drew her, I had no idea what cutie mark to give her, so I hid her flank behind an object.

Indeed, I felt the same way
I'm most certain she probably does have a cutie mark of some sort... and I have a hunch it has to
do with fireworks or some other special talent we have yet to discover about her.
I have seen other artists make her cutie mark design anything from the storm king's crest, to fireworks, to ice cream, to candy and soda pop so I am certain she has
an interesting cutie mark to boot
Either way, I hope we do discover her cutie mark as time goes on (if she has one of course)
however, I am uncertain if Hasbro has any intent on combing the show and the movie canons or if they simply plan on keeping both entities separate
Even if she didn't have a cutie mark, I think it would continue to make her character arc more interesting, adding a layer of sadness and self discovery to her
that could further her character development and make it more interesting (to me at least

I have to say I think it's cute that your character can relate to Tempest's past and
you can create a wonderful expression filled piece with the 2 characters

However, it would sure be disappointing if she didn't have a cutie mark though it would further build her character more into the depressing side and would gradually make her
even more interesting to me; I don't know if Hasbro has any plans to keep the film and the show separate entities but it would sure be nice to explore
her character arc more than just by film
I recently purchased the book: The Art of My Little Pony: The Movie, and though it does go in depth on her character designs, there are no mentions of her cutie mark
or any variables of her talents. (at least I hadn't seen any on my first read through)
I think it's strictly just speculation at the moment, but I would certainly like to know more about her character
