Description
Late at night and the
news arrive to my door.
A single letter that states
"You're nothing but a shadow
to a better you".
A lack of words, lack of breath
helped me to look less pathetic
to the eyes of
my beloved ones.

I started to investigate,
had to make sure... had to know.
And then, day after day I started
to understand how I am not
but a distorted reflection of
a better man, someone who lives
a better live, who's loved much more,
and who will surely make it
further into life.

I was terrified, hopeless and alone,
at the other side of a glass that
wouldn't break, wouldn't allow me
to be that man who everyone loves.
And since then I've sat right here
where you see me, a scared
little boy who knows he's the
Saglieri to a Mozart
that doesn't even know he exists.
