Personality: Astrid is in charge, and she wants you all to know it. She respects the person she bonds with but demands an equal respect more so than most horses. Training her will be a two-way street. One does not simply "tell Astrid what to do"; you listen and you learn and you work a way out together. Around other horses, her dominant mareish, bossy attitude is clear, she has her ears pinned back among foals and energetic horses. A hefty kick awaits those who bother her excessively. She's not too fond of strangers and she most likely won't approach them at all. If they come close to her loudly or threateningly, they should expect no warning before she plants a hoof where it hurts. However, she isn't a mean horse by nature and to those who take care around her, she can be quite pleasant, if a little reserved company. In short, she is simply too intelligent and fond of peace to put up with inexperienced humans or foals.
Likes: Will do anything for dried banana, she might even let a stranger near without a complaint if they offer dat sweet 'nana.
Dislikes: Persistently annoying humans or horses, no kids or foals around her please!
Quirks: Hates having her forelock near her face, she has to have it swept behind her ears, plaited or tied back. She'll refuse to work, cooperate or concentrate unless that hair is tucked away. She also quite enjoys nodding her head while wearing her cowbell to make a sound when she wants attention, food or other necessities.

Oooh awesome! I personally like to embrace that they have such a lot of modifiers per horse, so maybe a double dilution? Roan +dun might be nice with a splash meltsnow. If I was to pick a colour for another ober I'd probably choose a silver grulla with roan and splash like this one (but with roan too) :

Aww thank you! I use a basic form of SAI that doesn't have any other brushes than normal round, so I did all the fur texture myself. It's mostly just drawing tufts and then blending them to the right opacity so that they look realistic ;u;

Really, it is perfection! It gives the coat just enough detail to be realistic without spending a lifetime over each inch of the horse. Do you usually start at the head and go down the horse?

That's so sweet, thank you omg! Yeah, some horses I've done have a lot more fur and that took ages haha. Yep, I spend about half of the time and effort on the head alone, and then the neck, chest and legs, and leave the body and quarters until last because they're the hardest x3
