I fucking HATE it when moronic people associate things with Satan Lucifer that are NOT to be associated with him at all!! I mean, me, and 6 other actual Satanists (no, Im NOT a Satanist anymore because of what those 6 other Satanists did unto me) actually have taken the time to study ALL about Satanism and Christianity (only to find out that Christianity is one huge fuckin lie and destroyer of truth and knowledge and everything good) and have found out for a FACT that the only metal music that should ever be associated with Satan Lucifer is Black Metal as that music is the only music on earth that actually pleases Him.

I agree.
For example, it's just very annoying when people think that I eat cat on my breakfast -,-Β

I agree with you. When the singer or backup singer screams it dosent mean they are summoning demon. They are just screaming the words out

My friend is a devout Christian , also Metal/Rock fan running a school rock band. Yeah everyone enjoy their performance and even lured some joining fellowship, bible studying classes.
Ive heard a Christian rock song (in Chinese), showing hatred about conflicts and strong urge for love, brought by God to mankind. Man its pretty catchyΒ Β Β

A friend of mine actually got me into Christian metal recently. Screamo, even, and I never thought I'd like it.
I think it tends to convey more powerful feelings than your run-of-the-mill Gospel music. I cannot for the life of me recall any of the bands he showed me, but the songs really get across a passion for defying the laws and expectations of the world, choosing to follow God even if they're digging their own grave. Not to mention that metal is really, really fitting for the majority of Revelation. I do sincerely hope that the angels rock some of that out when the end hits us.

I agree wholeheartedly. And screaming isn't always an "angry" sound, I've heard a lot of bands whose screaming sounds more like a moan than a scream, like they are mourning the pain of sin. People don't shout only when they're angry, and it's the same with music.
BTW, thank for this epic stamp! It's pretty cool.

Well, I am sincerely torn.
It's important to put that a music can carry a message even without lyrics. For example, hearing a 'sad music' such as blues usually make people feel sad. Hearing a 'calming music', such as nature sounds usually make people feel calmer. Hearing an 'angry tone', an 'wild tone'... I am not so sure it wouldn't have some affect upon those who hear it.
Still, I wouldn't call them satanic. Especially because that would imply that however did them had an affiliation with Satan. Still, on a Christian view that we should be like Jesus... I am not sure he would have wanted to us to seek those feelings. And what isn't from God wishes is not holy.
I also know that not all metal or rock music use the same type of sounds. So I think, in conclusion, that it depends a lot on the vibrations that the music gives to those who hear it. ^^

yes! preach it!! thank you for making this!!! I dont know how many times I have to tell people (especially older folks) that my metal music is NOT evil...in fact I make it very clear to them that the music they are calling "satanic devil worship music" is actually pure CHRISTIAN worship music praising the Father, Son and Holy Spirit...I even read the lyrics to them. Haha I love to see the looks on their faces...

When it comes down to it all that matters is that people know the difference between the harmless metal and the satanic type. Metal is perfectly fine to listen to unless it has a sinister spiritual meaning behind it.

I think the term for it is Black Metal...I don't think I've ever heard it though.

NAH, i dont think so....well, maybe, i dont listen to it that much either, maybe we should give it a try...
Actually, just looked it up, you seem to be dead on!
So only Black metal is inherently "satanic"

And even then, there's some black metal bands who are not Satanic. There's some bands who outright say they're Satanic.
