Not 100% satisfied with the balance(proportions), but it was a spontaneous image not a planned one.This is Allys Bardic with her hair in a pony-tail as opposed to the Pig-tails she had in the story header.
A slightly more adult look
Probably a green and black pattern on the space activity suit (under her jacket-along with things like her mini-comp Sonic knife etc.)

Trying to decide if the prime obstacle in the story is are wiggly Aberrants or a floaty Doyen.
Have this mental image of one Chinese E-15 pilot's last sight is a pair of scaly(and rubbery of course) breasts as a dragoness type Aberrant lands on his cockpit and super-heats the air inside.

Dunno, one of my sci-fi FMCs has a suit of power armor for when she wants to be taken seriously.
She has her hair in a tight buzz cut anyway, but that's beside the point. People find it hard to argue when they're being choked by an armored gauntlet.
