Dear Jared,

We finally made it into orbit around Frigga! Hopefully we we can still get the colony up and running, we lost one of the modules coming out of hyperspace.

Even with the wormhole it was nearly a year before we reached orbit, and the company is too cheep to buy hibernation pods, so we had to do the whole trip as "brains in a jar"

Apparently there was a file "mix-up", I'm not stuck inside a construction cyborg's body like I was contracted to do. I ended up looking like a buzz-cut jailbait version of Cassandra Banks, that holo-actress you drool over so much.

Turns out, that was because she was on the flight! Oh, and the mix-up I mentioned earlier, well it was on purpose!

Seems that her husband and her agent were tired of her prima-dona attitude and were seeing each other on the sly, so the swapped the profiles.

When she woke up in the work-frame I was supposed to inhabit (Probably for the rest of my indentured life) she went berserk, and well they only give one warning when a heavy-duty borg goes nucking futz on a ship.

It did not end well, when the investigation was found they pulled me out of the growth tank and grilled me for days! My story was thankfully consistent, probably because I was totally clueless.

The Husband and Agent were found out the Captain couldn't change them with Murder, but he was able to charge them with Identity theft and endangering the ship, Serious crime in space.

Long story short, they are likely going to be spaced. The Captain took me aside and had me sign another form, don't worry I looked it over first, and it was a better fate then indentured servitude, they were adoption papers.

Not surprisingly Cassandra Banks paid full passage, and as her only "heir" I am now free. The Captain and soon to be Governor, however didn't want a 13 year old running around without a guardian.

Not bad for a 37 year old space-tramp huh?
