Eventhough I chose a rather melancholic song and lyrics once more, I have to say that I also like your interpretation very much. I think we all can relate to this wish...going along the road to an uncertain future, hoping that it will be brighter than the present.
(Btw, you're right...I took this photo in the early morning.

Funny how beauty can be so sad sometimes... Your words and photographs echo deep inside of me. I tend to think "depressed" souls are only souls living in a world naturally lacking light from the heart and therefore kind of "cursed" to hurt or disconnect until... Whatever(with a big W)

The way you captured everything here is phenomenal...the atmosphere is so mystical, the way the human element-the road and the wood are combined, smth so familiar but yet seems haunted, hostile maybe? Eerie for sure.

Thank you so much, my dear. I was lucky to be in the right place at the perfect time, we haven't had much snow in early 2012 - but this foggy morning was a perfect compensation!
Also a magical place with a story. You can find lots of barrows from the Bronze Age in this forest next to my hometown, nowadays it's an alternative cemetery where we buried the urn of my father-in-law.
