Wonderful!

What exactly do those dispensers do? :3

The dispensers are hooked up by redstone to a button outside the farm, when the button is pressed the first time the water is dispensed from a bucket inside the dispenser, once all the wheat has been harvested and moved to the collection point, a second press of the button collects the water block previously placed (ready for re-use). You can then collect all the wheat and seeds and replant the seeds for the next harvest.

Yep.

The only ingredients are redstone 1 x button and a few repeater.

step 1: place dispensers.

step 2: I ran the redstone behind the dispensers, then underground and up to where the button is.

Step 3: I placed a repeater every ten blocks or so I think (but you have to make sure you dont put a repeater behind a dispenser or the dispenser wont activate).

Done.

repeaters were used to extend the redstone signal (redstone signals only travel 15 blocks).

When you press a button water comes out of the dispensers and moves the wheat to a collection platform, then you press the button again and the water is collected by the dispensers.

You then have to replant the seeds.

I usually use pistons for an automated wheat farm, but in this instance I wanted to have something a little more fancy looking.

I think the dispensers make it look pretty cool.

This is a night shot of the same set up and I added a picture frame of the wheat now that I am running 1.4

There is also a link on the original post where I am building it if your interested.
