This is Anthracite, a little pyromaniac Teddiursa from CC.

Anthracite is named after the fancy name for coal (you’ll hear it a lot on the old ads for Blue Coal—“America’s Number One Anthracite!”)—strangely apropos.  Started off as a shiny, decided to make him an Array instead.  Now he can set the world on fire….

Technically, Teddiursa are supposed to have a cream-colored muzzle, but when I put it on him, he ended up looking too much like a Pansear for my tastes.  So…it’s a side effect of his blend.

Background:

When listing the reasons that the Gible cousins aren’t allowed to go off by themselves anymore, Anthracite is held up as a primary example.  Not only did the two give the little arsonist matches to play with, but they also brought him home to set a can of gas on fire.  Even worse, they offered him one of the poffins Weaton had brought home, making the Teddiursa a fire type to boot!  Do we need any more reasons as to why they aren’t allowed to be unsupervised anymore?

Anthracite likes to set things on fire.  Full stop.  We’re working on it.

Diet:

Coal, strangely enough. And honey.

Trivia:

--Likes fire just a tad too much

--Sets things on fire just to watch it burn

--Actually doesn’t mean any harm
                --Doesn’t understand that burning things is bad

                --We’re working on teaching him control
--Is not allowed to go anywhere without a water type handy....
