This is the Baroness Von Steamer, a cool robotic Darkrai mix from CC.

This girl was another one of those that was inspired in a big batch by the game Gigantic—good news, as of today that game is BACK, baby!!!

Moving on—she’s also very heavily inspired by what I’ve seen of the Delver ruins in Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (computer keeps crashing when I try to explore it, weirdly enough) and especially by Baron Von Steamer from the Big Hero 6 TV show (love it, trying to get my parents into it, am marginally successful thus far).  She mostly gets her levels through writing though—lots of moving parts....

Background:

On the list of things to do at the new place, cleaning up and sorting the old junk was top priority.  Good news though: Creedence was about 90% certain that he had made sure there was nothing nasty lurking.

Um, so about that 10%--someone accidentally activated an antiquated Darkrai robot, which immediately started attacking everyone for trespassing, at least until the rust slowed it down.  Darn scary thing—but it was cool looking….

And unfortunately, as the Darkraimancer Weaton felt the need to fix it, since it was a Darkrai…and he did know at least a little about working with metals…mostly how to clean them up and get them looking decent again.  Three tons of dirt and grime later, and there’s still a nice patina on the Darkrai, but the joints are working again—and it immediately started hugging him after the others let go AAAH HELP—

The Baroness Von Steamer’s new directive: protect the Darkraimancer Weaton at all costs.  All threats to the Darkraimancer Weaton are to be terminated with extreme prejudice.  LA-DE appreciates the assistance.

Diet:

Oil and water and coal—she needs to be kept fueled, you know.

Trivia:

--Nearly always spewing steam

                --Good for pasta, veggies, and some clothes

                --Also really opens up the pores

--Can definitely hear her coming

--Can be pretty single-minded when she wants to be

--Hates rust

                --Loves Weaton for cleaning her up and fixing her
