This is Cobalt, a Cobalion mix from CC.

Cobalt’s ref stagnated for years because I could not wrap my head around Cobalion’s structure. And then I did Morus Alba’s ref, where I combo’ed her with a dragon, which then led to the idea of adding Dragonair to Cobalt. MUCH better.

Cobalt is named after the base part of Cobalion’s name, yes, that being the blue color of Cobalt—but Cobalt is also a chemical element that’s often found in alloys, keeping with the ranch theme. Cobalt is also poisonous, so….

Background:

Weaton was exploring a food factory one day, mostly keeping Eli from eating too much, when he came across this Cobalion, which maintained stern eye contact as it stomped on a poffin. Weird flex but okay.

Apparently Cobalt also ate some of these poffins, since they took effect after he followed Weaton home. Why follow Weaton? Have you seen this hopeless boy?

Diet:

Used to be sugar, but apparently he got over it.
