It's a pretty picture but I can't help but feel it's missing something. She's standing still in pose but she's in a transactional place the kitchen. Why not add more movement and action?

She was kind of spinning and moving when I took the shot so not sure how I could add more except maybe having her scramble some eggs lol. I understand what you mean about her location but I dont want that to take precedence or the focus off of her, the background should support but generally not pull from her.

I agree about the background supporting the model. It's hard balance the surrounding while keeping the focus. Perhaps having her wash the dishes next to the window that way you can use the window light to draw attention to her. Another idea would be having her sitting Indian style in the middle of the kitchen with an annoyed look on her face. I do have to say that I have never taken an art class or a photo so I'm by no means an expert. P.S. if you could please review my journal I'm dying to get an opinion.

I love your very sexy model and the shot. Art is there to make you think and I,for one, think I would love to be greeted like this after a long day at the office. That is the great thing about art. We all get to make a story that WE like.

One hundred percent gorgeous. I just feel the background is a little too...ahh well I just dont feel like she stands out enough. With her being pale and the garments being pale too I feel the white tile and rest of the background just don't put enough emphasis on her. The green is a lovely hint though. I don't really know, I'm not in any way qualified to critique.... Lovely shot though

Just the fact that you felt enough to say something is enough to qualify in my opinion! That being said I really appreciate that you did! Im wondering if maybe there were a little more contrast added that she might stand out more but I was going for a very soft feel and I thought the rest of kitchen blurred in the background gave her enough focus but maybe I will examine that again, thank you very much

This pic is nice, but a model with those great curves would look even better in a more direct lighting - this way she looks a bit flat.
Also, the pose - the camera is viewing her directly from the front. A more interesting idea would have been to have her turn a bit to the side, or interact with the kitchen in some way.

Interesting insight, She was kind of twisting when she took this and I feel her body has some interesting angles and contours and this shot fits into the rule of thirds quite nicely. I appreciate you taking the time and your opinion, thank you!
